Whether you sell on your own Shopify or WooCommerce storefront, a marketplace like Etsy, eBay, or Amazon, or through social channels, buyers expect a clean order confirmation in their inbox and a tidy packing slip in the box. A4 layouts work for printed packing slips, while smaller-format receipts can be printed on the thermal printers most pick-and-pack stations already use. Watch out for two common gaps: ecommerce returns require the original shipping cost to be visible on the receipt (otherwise refunds get miscalculated), and international orders need the tax line clearly labelled ("VAT", "GST", "Sales Tax") so customs and the buyer's bookkeeper can both read it correctly.
